Tofers use a slightly narrower shape for a snug, barefoot fit so if you do not have wide feet (aka you normally wear “standard width” shoes), choose the size you are used to wearing. The leather lining & suede upper will naturally form around your feet as you wear the shoes... don’t be worried if you have a slight gap at the tip of the toe – this is by design since the Hampton is a European-inspired shoe. So long as the width is right, and your Hampton is comfortable, you have the right size!
If you wear a US whole size: there's your answer, stick to it
If you wear a US half size: If you often wear the next size up, go with that. For example, if you're a US 9.5 (which is between EU 42/43) but in some shoes you find a US 10 (EU 43) works best, you should go with EU 43. However, if you wear standard D width shoes and have never "rounded up", we recommend sizing down. For example, if you wear a US 9.5 D (which is between EU 42/43) and don't ever wear a US 10, your best fit is going to be EU 42. Note: if you have wide feet, you should round up to the next size. For example, if you wear a US 9.5 E (which is between EU 42/43), your best fit is going to be EU 43.
If you have wide feet: You should buy an entire size up. For example, if you typically wear a US 9, E width, (EU 42), you should probably get an EU 43. If however you typically wear a US half size in E width, we suggest rounding up to the next size only. For example, if you wear a US 9.5 E (between EU 42/43), you should go with an EU 43.
- If you wear several different sizes: If, for example, you wear a US 7 in some brands and US 8 in others and don't know which one to base your size off of, you should probably go with the larger size of US 8 (EU 41).
